My painting is from the stained glass piece by the same name located hanging from the ceiling of the Lamar Bath House in Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is approximately 20' x30'; that is FEET. My 16"x20" painting took a long time with all that detail. I am sure that the stained glass took much longer!
Born and raised in Vicksburg, MS, currently living in Starkville, MS. Professional artist, past adjunct professor at Mississippi College, and Wayland Baptist University at the Kenya Campus. My painting styles run the gamut from realism, abstraction and nonobjective with a variety of media and subjects. I love nature and the outdoors and light and color. My first grant received was a federal block grant through the MS Department of Human Services in which I created a video program on how to develop creative thinking.
