Artist's Description
BLUE HERON is the first of the series Birds of Tibbee Creek. I painted some of the birds I see on the creek. This is the largest of the three. The others are WHITE EGRET and CANADIAN GOOSE AND GOSLINGS.
About Jeanette Jarmon
Born and raised in Vicksburg, MS, currently living in Starkville, MS. Professional artist, past adjunct professor at Mississippi College, and Wayland Baptist University at the Kenya Campus. My painting styles run the gamut from realism, abstraction and nonobjective with a variety of media and subjects. I love nature and the outdoors and light and color. My first grant received was a federal block grant through the MS Department of Human Services in which I created a video program on how to develop creative thinking. This series,THE CREATIVE CHILD, was used for continuing education credits for child caregivers.
